Cea Design - The Art and Functionality of Faucets

The company was founded in 1984 as the Center for Alternative Energy, which over the years has undergone a radical transformation, entering the design sector since 2007, thanks to Natalino Malasorti and Roberta Bertacco. A couple in work and life, they are the founders and architects of the success of CEA Design, which converted it from a company specializing in the plumbing and heating sector, into a center for the design of bathroom faucets and kitchen mixers, to which is added a selection of towel warmers with a linear and elegant design.

Richard McClintock, a Latin scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, is credited with discovering the source behind the ubiquitous filler text. In seeing a sample of lorem ipsum, his interest was piqued by consectetur—a genuine, albeit rare, Latin word. Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum (“On the Extremes of Good and Evil”), a first-century B.C. text from the Roman philosopher Cicero.

From the Hydro-thermo-sanitary Sector to Design

Previous experience in the field, a very high level of technological expertise and design capacity make this transition physiological, and the result is a product capable of meeting all the criteria of contemporary architecture and those of the building industry, thanks in part to the knowledge and use of alternative materials, which in turn respect the environment.

All production processes are low environmental impact, non-polluting, aiming at sustainable development, taking responsibility for safeguarding the environment and future generations. "Development" means bringing into the market recyclable products, which do not generate additional volume, but can be useful forever, even in completely different forms.

Having become an international benchmark for this type of production in a very few years, CEA has made design, sustainability, technical performance and its know-how a symbol of Made in Italy in the world. Production is completely made in Italy inside the Pianezze factory, while at Via Brera No. 9 since 2016, in Milan, it is possible to visit the showroom where much of the brand's creativity is concentrated.

Cea Design Collections: Made in italy and Creativity

CEA Design's collections are elegant, pleasing to the touch and to the eye, capable of combining the latest technologies with an attention to design also witnessed by the many collaborations with designers of Italian excellence and the many awards won, such as the Archiproducts Design Awards, with the Regolo 02 mixer in 2017, the Abaco modular system in 2018, the Ariachiara ceiling fan in 2019 and the Equilibrio 44 electric towel warmer in 2020.

Milo is the most minimal collection. It is designed, in fact, to fit all types of settings. The lines are simple and timeless, which is why it is the most beloved series.

CEA Design, with the Giotto Plus collection, presents a new faucet model in AISI 316L stainless steel equipped with a single-lever mixer. The collection is complete with remote controls, shower units, and allows us to combine spouts, showerheads, and handshowers to create shower spaces completely tailored to customers' needs. If you want to create a total look bathroomGiotto Plus also provides you with a range of bathroom accessories to match the faucets.

The Gastone line is a particularly fun and original series, provides a wide assortment of colors in a matte finish that is very pleasant to the touch. CEA uses only water-based paints that allow for a 90 percent reduction in the emission of toxic dust into the environment from solvent-based paints or other petroleum derivatives. In addition, water-based paints are odorless and nonflammable.

Recyclability and Sustainable Materials

CEA Design products are all recyclable: a faucet can be a door handle tomorrow, living forever.
The material chosen by CEA in all its products is stainless steel, which provides high mechanical strength and hardness, a strong ecological footprint, antibacterial properties and ease of cleaning.

Finishes are carefully chosen and include silicone rubber, acetal resin, and carbon fiber. All these materials, combined with a design of rare beauty, make the products instantly recognizable anywhere in the world.

On sale online at the best price on this portal are only high quality and technologically advanced CEA Design faucets, which can last excellently over time and have a strong impact on energy savings and water consumption.
